Red Dust and Exodus: Assessing the Promise of Mars

Welcome, to the Red Dust and Exodus series. This project examines the essential components required to plan a large-scale transportation of life to Mars, considering technical, ethical, cultural, and sustainable aspects. Through exploration, engineering, and science, the series develops both existing and original systems for survival and long-term habitation on Mars, informed by Indigenous knowledge systems and includes architectural principles that reflect humanity’s enduring drive to adapt, endure, and survive.
